zkSync Era gas fee calculator.
Live fees read straight from the chain, with nothing rounded up. Paste a transaction hash to see exactly what it paid.
How zkSync Era gas fees are calculated
Fee = gas used × base fee. Gas used depends on what the transaction does, and the base fee is the price of each unit.
The base fee is set by the protocol for every block.
zkSync Era doesn't charge the tip (priority fee): you pay the base fee alone, whatever tip your wallet offers.
zkSync Era counts the cost of publishing data to Ethereum as gas, so the same action takes two to four times the gas it does on Ethereum.
The max fee your wallet shows is only a cap. You are charged the base fee, and the rest is never spent.
Some calculators round any gas price under 0.1 gwei up to 0.1. When the gas price sits below that, their estimates come out several times too high. This one shows what the chain reports.
Data: eth_feeHistory and transaction receipts from public zkSync Era RPC nodes; ETH/USD from Chainlink's price feed on zkSync Era. Refreshed every 12 seconds.
