Quills: The Medieval War

A medieval combat game built in Unreal Engine 5, starring the Quills cast. So far we've delivered the cinematic teaser, a playable gameplay demo, a city map and a battlefield — and took the build to Tokyo Game Show 2025.

Quills: The Medieval War

The project

Taking an NFT brand into a real game

Quills started as a collection and a community. The Medieval War takes that IP into a full medieval combat game in Unreal Engine 5 — the kind of production that gives an on-chain brand a reason to exist well beyond the secondary market.

What we built

A teaser, a playable demo and two maps

A cinematic teaser, a demo of the core combat loop, a city map built around the Siege of Orleans, and an open battlefield built around the Battle of the Herring. Each was scoped as a self-contained slice, so the project has something showable at every stage rather than only at launch.

Where it's been shown

Tokyo Game Show 2025

We exhibited the build at Tokyo Game Show 2025 — putting the project in front of a mainstream games audience rather than a crypto one, which is the audience a game of this kind eventually has to win.
