Golden Tablets

Golden Tablets lets players inscribe characters on an on-chain tablet, extract the gold from it, and craft that gold into new items or mint it as a coin. Inscribed tablets are NFTs, tradable on the open market.

The problem

Turning an inscription into a tradable asset

Inscribed tablets needed to behave like real collectibles — ownable, tradable, and worth extracting value from — without a custom marketplace to maintain.

What we built

Inscribe, extract and craft as contract actions

Tablets are minted as NFTs at inscription; extracting gold and crafting it into new items are contract calls, so the full lifecycle of an asset stays on-chain and auditable.

The economy

Gold as the shared unit between items

Extracted gold is the common currency for crafting, which gives every tablet a use beyond display and keeps the market for finished items liquid.
